Surnames: Ausmus, Collins, Leach, Pierce
I ran across the following reference tonight and was wondering if anyone knew anything about this gentleman?
"Ausmus, John.Gunner, Capt. Warner's co., Col. Revere's regt.; Continental Army pay accounts for service from Nov. 1, 1777, to Dec. 31, 1779. " from Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors in the War of the Revolution, 17 Vols. Volume 1. page 351.
I don't have a good candidate for this person in my files. Hope someone else does.
