I am the great great grandson of George Aust who was born in 1816 and may have been Ann's twin brother. George married Rebecca Williams in 1838, their daughter Augusta Rebecca born 1845 married my grandfather Henry Kibby in Llanfrechfa, Monmouthshire in 1866. Are you aware that a James Aust was tried for high treason for his part in the Chartist uprising in Newport in 1839, the prosecution was eventually withdrawn.
