Surnames: AUSTEN, GUESS, BRYANT
Charles Austen (son of William) married Elizabeth Guess (daughter of Jerry/Jeremiah) at Biddenden, Kent 3 March 1838 interested in contacting anyone who has researched this family. The marriage was witnessed by William & Ann Bryant, my 3rd GGparents. Ann's maiden name was Austen & I suspect Charles is her brother or close kin?
It appears Charles and Elizabeth emigrated to Sydney, Australia on the same vessel(Westminster)as William and Ann Bryant later that year. If so his age was given as 25 suggesting a birth year of about 1813.
