I am looking for information about the william thomas auston family. He was married to a Mary Bean....WT was or part cherokee indian..and as far as we know his wife was part black dutch and cherokee. i do not know hardly anything about my family and anything could help...my grandparents had i think 6 children, ruby, calvin, mike, wt, those are the only ones that i know of....my family is pretty much scattered out every where so i am not for sure where we originated from...i do know that my grandfather wt died in quiteque tx sometime in the 1980's or the early 1990's..
please if anyone has any infor please let me know i have just started researching my family and i am not quite sure where to start...

I have a grandfather that was named william thomas auston, his son's (my dad) was mike allan auston....as far as i know most everyone past my dad was named william thomas...my grandfather died in quiteque tx either in 1980's or early 1990's i am looking for anything about my family that anyone can help me with.

Need: What I am looking for is the Father of Peter AUSTIN and perhaps where he emerged from i.e. England how. Also looking for other Cousins, and any added Info on siblings.

History: From what I have obtained it looks as if Peter went from Connecticut to NY to establish a settlement in the Westchester Co.,Tompkins Co., Tioga Co. area's. His Son, George, expanded to Tioga Co., Pennsylvania with George's Son, Jerome, leading onward to Cliton Co., Iowa, just west of the Mississippi River, which was very common in that time frame. The Family then settled in the Jackson/Battle Creek MI area for reasons unknow. I do know that many family members we workers of the Railways. Perhaps they could have been in MI for Jobs?

My grandmother's father was William Alvin Auston. She lived in Alabama. Her name is Liddie Auston. She had brothers: Luther Irvin and James. I don't know if Hardy Auston is in my family. I have just begun my research. But my family is from Alabama, and we are Auston's. My Grandfather was Clifton Auston. He did in the early 1970's. His wife Adrie is still alive in Cullman. Though she has since remarried. Clifton left 2 Sons and a Daughter. He served in the military though I am not sure which branch (Army I believe.

Austin Family in North Carolina

Charles and Mary Austin came from Ireland with eight of their children about 1766 and settled in Wake County, NC. There were Austins in the area at that time that were probably related. One of Charles' children was named William, born 4/3/1754 in Ireland. I have no further info on him. I have reason to believe that some of the family went to Tenessee and I am working on that. If I come up with anything, I'll let you know.
