I am looking for the parents of a D R W Avant who was born in Georgetown S. C. around 1822. He is rumored to be a descendant of the French Hugenot Avants of this area. He was a physician in Georgia and died in the 1870's, His first name may be David. Thanks for any leads. C J Smith
