I have little information other than a Wiley Avant (b. abt 1845 in Texas) whose wife's name was Francis (b. abt 1848 in Alabama) lived in Robertson County, Texas in 1880. Their children include Augustus Avant (b. abt. 1974 in Texas) who is my husband's great-grandfather. Augustus married a Nora O'Brien and they had a son named Reginald Augustus Avant (b. 8-21-1910 in Kaufman Co., Texas).
