I wish we could clear up the mystery after Amos Aven. I have had two or three different readings on this, one being James Aven(t)as his father, his mother Mary Eliza Stanford. Another Thomas Avent father and Rebecca Stevens mother. If you have any info on this would appreciate hearing from you.
