Hi Betty my name is Daniel Averet. Elisha Averett Sr. was/is my ggg grand father,I come through his eldest son Elisha Jr born in 1848 Council Bluff Iowa he married Annie C Skog from Gotland Sweeden in 1872. Among one of their sons was Frederick Alden Averett he married Amanda Claretta Watkins. he was my great grandfather,his eldest son Gerald Alden Averett was/is my grand father . I was born to his first son Jerry Keith Averett . All the Averetts I mentioned except Elisha Sr and Elisha were born in Heber Utah and of course Annie C Skog Averett. I my self was born In San Bernardino CA. I met Shawn Price in Redlands CA a week and a half ago at the Latter day Saints Family History Center.

not that I know of the Churchof Latterday saints may have it on microfilm. if they do you can go to one of their family history centers and request that the micro film be sent their for you to view at a resonable price.

As far as I can tell it originates in both england and france My refererance in a web search Natheil averett 1635 it says that averetts came to virginia around 1630 or so,the french connection is that some of the averett family came to england in 1066 with william the conqueror from france I hope this was hepfulI an daniel averett great great grat granson of elisha averett born in maury county tenesse 1810

I had a great uncle named George Watson, he was married to Annie Bea, the lived in Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, AL.........I think he died in the late 50 or early sixties. He had a brother named Robert Floyd and Oater 1 sister named Jeter......Father was George W Watson I think Mother was Cora V Watson, maiden name unkown.
