Hello, I have just come across your message about the Averres. I am your wife's cousin and have traced the Averre line to Paul native of Billingham and Ann Young of Trimdon
I am currently trying to trace the parents of Isabella Laing who married Charles Averre in South Durham Street Chapel in 1869. Her father was given as Hall Laing. Have you any information on this line. Many thanks Ron Jacob
By the way my dad always said the Averres were of Flemish Hugenot decent!
