I'm still trying to find the parents of my Thomas Averre b. abt. 1841 somewhere in England. He immigrated to the US. sometime before 1870 because he married in 1871 to Elinor whose father was born in England, also. All this infor. is on the 1880 US census for Evergreen, Louisana Avoylelles Parish. In 1880 his age is listed as 39. That is all the information I have on my great great grandfather.

I looked up marriages in England and found a Jas Averre and Elizth Green married in 1834 T Mary'Bone St.Mary Parish. Who are these people. Thanks in advance for any help.
