James Avinger
O'BRIEN-James (Little Joe) Avinger, 23, of O'Brien died Saturday, April 27, 2002, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Fanning Springs.
Born in Gainesville, Mr. Avinger lived most of his life in High Springs. He was employed with Aspen Tree Surgeons.
Mr. Avinger is survived by: his wife Julie G. Avinger of Bronson; a step-daughter, Megan Hendricks of Bronson; a step-son Ian Champion of Bronson; his parents Walter and Cheryl Avinger of O'Brien; a sister Michelle Waxler of Providence; paternal grandmother Mary Raulerson of Lake Butler; maternal grandparents James and Geraldine Nazworth of O'Brien and one nephew.
Funeral services for Mr. Avinger were April 30, 2002 in the Chapel of Archer Funeral Home in Lake Butler with the Rev. Percy Cunningham officiating. Burial followed in Antioch Cemetery.
