Hi, I believe my ancestor to be a George Avise or an Oswal Avise, but either could not have been a gunner in the Cold Stream Guards if my recolection of "time" is correct. Would you have any relatives called "Boone" Avise from Illinois? My dad was James Frank,; his Walter Mark; his Benjamin Frank; his Thomas L.; his John Luterback; his Jesse........Any sound familiar??
