Surnames: Awl, Dickey, McMurtray
I'm seeking info and sources for Jane Awl, wife of Thomas Dickey.
Thomas' birth day was ca. 1658, and I'm going on the assumption that Jane was of a similar age. Her parents were reportedly David Awl and Elizabeth McMurtray. However, I've not even begun to check into the validity of her parentage, yet. I'm still trying to find out if she was the wife of Thomas. *g*
Thomas Dickey was born in either Scotland or Ireland. I've seen a date of death as 1728 in Northern Ireland. He and Jane were supposed to have married 30 June 1680.
Can anyone help?
