Excellent help. I have confirmed and will add Elijah Newton Awtrey's offspring(which is fully documented photographically) to the database. The Eldridge name was a cincher(My Boompa's middle name was Eldridge). I am reasonably convinced that my Grandson born 1998 is descended from Isaac son of Lucy Camp Awtrey wife of Absalom. However, I am becoming convinced I am not related to the Louisiana Autrey's and that their reach from Absalom born 1802 via a Cornelius /Absalom lineage to Cornelius born 1720 is shakey. I believe the 1800 Bankston Bible that shows Bankston relations with Isaac to be the son of Lucy Camp to be irrefutable. If this is true then the Patriarch Absalom Autrey(1731-1827) of the Louisiana clan reported died in Saint Claire Alabama, is not the same Absalom Awtrey(1749-1833) known buried in Henry County GA, and "known" married to Lucy Camp. Thus I cannot reasonably yet assume lineage with Cornelius founder of Autryville, NC. I'll let the Lousiana Autrey's have Cornelius but Lucy is most certainly my Gramma. Now the question is if Absalom Awtrey 1749-1833, husband to Lucy, is not Cornelius's son .... who is he?? And.... who really filed that claim for Revolutionary War Pension in the 1830's that was declined for what reason???

Maybe A"W"trey is not the same as A"U"trey, which will blow up all our assumptions.
Many thanks to the Vanderpools.
