Jan. 1756, Elis NISE. / History of the Upper Germantown Burying Ground, Germantown Avenue & Pomona Street: John Frederick AX began building the front wall in May 1724. By 1756, he was too feeble to attend to the ground and accounts, but during that time, the cemetery was called Ax's Bu. Ground. It was later called Concord Cem. Listings:
