I would love to share info on the Axtman's.
The file I have is very large. Do you want it all?
When you mentioned accuracy, I had to smile. In 1999, we had an Axtman family reunion of the descendants of Frank Axtman who had two wives with six children from each of them. Three of us grandchildren who did genealogy decided to combine our info for a family book. We finally agreed after many hours of work and emails etc that if two of us had the same spelling of a name (Catherine, Katherine, Kathryn, etc) we would go with that. Dates were another problem, even with individual family members contributing to the effort. So as far as accuracy goes I try to verify with two sources but with human error involved I won't guarantee that it will be completely accurate. Deal??
Elizabeth Sauer

Elizabeth and Angie,

I don't have nearly as much information as you have, but would love to contribute in any way I can. Elizabeth was kind enough to e-mail her gedcom file earlier this year, unfortunately, I don't have the software to open in its organized fashion. I am saving it on disk for when I do get the software on my home computer.

I can provide information on the Axtmans as it relates to Andrew Axtman's decendents (Cornelius Axtman's son). However, since my dad's passing (Marvin Axtman), I have not been good about keeping up with that side of the family, so not a lot of recent information.

My e-mail address will be changing effective December 16 to: kerager@tjbc.com.

Kristi (Axtman) Erager

Oh sure that's a deal..LOL...

I had the primary file on a laptop, but it contacted a virus that made the entire thing crash and corrupt the file. So I had to start over from scratch.

I haven't spoken to my MIL in about a year who has the newspaper clippings now, and the family bible. But my husbands grandmother was big on keeping up with what was going on in ND.

I have your email address. I'll try and email you a gedcom file of everything I have.

Angie

I would love to exchange information on this family. I have begun to do my husband's maternal family and this name with Axtmnan has come up. My husband would be 4th cousins with Kristi. I have found some information from a family bible, and newspaper clippings that were sent to his maternal grandmother. I have found some information while exploring the internet but trying to verify accuracy.

Hullo!

I'm trying to locate information on a May Pearce (variant spellings may include Mae and Pierce) of Newfoundland, born about 1878-1882-ish, who married
Dan Axtman and moved to Boston, Mass. They had at least one son, Danny, and at least one daughter. I don't know much about Dan Axtman, Sr., though I do have
a nice photo of him. May Pearce had brothers Heber and Theordore, maybe others. Her parents were George Pearce and Lucretia Anna Newhook, both of Catalina, Newfoundland, Canada.

Happy to share any and all information with anyone who might know of this couple and their family in the States!

Cheers!
Elaine
