My Grandpa that raised me had all his family in Michoacan. His name was Antonio Hernandez Ayala. He had beautiful blue eyes and light brown wavy hair and was 6 ft tall. Very white looking. I think he had Spaniard blood. I would love to know more info if you have any about who you know from Michoacan. Thank you :)

Hi! Well my Julian Ayala was married to my Great-Great Grandmother, "mama Felipa" When she met Julian she already had a son - Valentin Serrano. I have yet to find out who Valentin's birth father is, however I do know that Julian and Felipa had children together; that's how the Serrano's and Ayala's are related. I have a picture of one of Valentin's half sister (Julian and Felipa's daughter); she is an Ayala.

Hello, I saw your post on this thread and it blew me away as I am an Ayala. I live in New York and I started doing research about my family tree in High School. Julian Ayala y Ayala was my 2nd great granfather. It seems like some of the family kept Ayala and the others took Serrano. What was your dad's name? and who were his parents/grandparent?

Soooo excited :) Nice to mee you.
I found some family on here and Facebook.

Ayala-Campos

Need help. Trying to find my paternal grandfather. My paternal grandmother is Antonia Ayala Y Campos. She died about 1977. She did not marry the man whom impregnated her, so there maybe no hope for me finding information about him. My dad is 76 yrs old now and it would be nice if I could find out whom is father is. He was never told as a child. Here is more info, if it helps... Antonia's father was Carlos Ayala and her mother was Cornelia Campos. They lives in a place called Hoyos Mulas, Puerto Rico and also maybe in Carolina, Puerto Rico. My dad also had a sister named Isabel Andino who died as a teenager from tuberculosis some time around 1945. If any one can help with more info on this family or anyone whom may have known Antonia as a young lady in the 1930's in Puerto Rico-I would greatly appreciate it. Just looking for info to comfort my aging father. Gracias. May God Bless you all. QUe Dios los Bendigas.

Cecilia was born 1923 in Texas and died 1926-1927 in Los Angeles. Her parents are Jose Matias Vicente Ayala and Francisca Vargas Ayala. I have been unable to locate a birth or death certificate or where she is buried. We think it may be Evergreen cemetery. A relative remembers hearing a story that where ever Cecilia was buried original was being cleared to build upon but no one knows where she was re-located.

The Ayala family in Hawaii knows about Karen(Linda Salliday)and that she was given up for adoption. We all want to know about her. My grandmother Eleanor Ayala is the sister of John Ayala was Helen Frances Ayala's father. Karen(Linda) has alot of family in Hawaii most of which are in Hilo area of the Big Island. Her brother Carl lives on Maui, Sandra live somewhere on the Mainland, Chucky passed in the early 80's, Sharon and Debbie live on Oahu. She has lots of family. I was happy to have come across this and called my 73 year old mom on the Big Island who was so excited to hear about Aunty Helen's first daughter. I can be found on Face Book - Stacy Perry-Vega.

My fathers grandfather Jose Matias Vicente Ayala was born on the late 1800's in Le Piedad, Michoacan, Mexico I have a border crossing dated 26 May 1910 through El Paso Texas which notes his father as being Deadero Ayala, but an uncle of my husbands thinks his fathers name is Jesus Ayala, but a lot of males born in Mexico has Jesus added to the name at baptism, but I cannot locate any documents with his fathers name to be sure and the mother on the border crossing is Maria Acosta, they did not cross with him

Also we believe Jose's father died when he was very young
and they family until recently thought his name was simply Matias Ayala
