Looking for information on WILLIAM BAKER AYERS, who was born in 1814 in either North Carolina (according to the 1860 census) or Georgia (according to the 1870 and 1880 censuses). His wife was Polly Boatwright, daughter of Drury Boatwright. I'm trying to find out who the parents of William were.

According to the 1830 census of Franklin Co., Georgia, (Rogimalich) BAKER AYERS, Jr. had in his household a male who was between the ages of 15 and 20. Baker's other known sons were, at this time (if I'm not mistaken), already the heads of households in Georgia. I'm wondering whether that young male living with BAKER, Jr. in 1830 was William BAKER AYERS. In 1830, BAKER, Jr. and Drury Boatwright were neighbors. They lived quite close to each other.
