I am trying to find the sibs and parents of Jeremiah Ayres from PA. What we know: he married Margaret Eliza Douthitt 18 Jun 1863, settled in College Hill, KY, where he was a doctor and they had 12 children. We know nothing of his history -- he never even spoke to his wife about his family of origin.

Birthdate: may have been 25 Jun 1831.
Deathdate: 7 Jun 1899, College Hill, KY
Education: some time at The Eclectic College of Medicine, as Jeremiah Ayres, M.D., in 1855 1858; B.A., DePauw Univ., "anno Domini millesimo nongentesimo nono.";M.A., Ohio State, 1870.

Family: some evidence suggests he may have lived with the Reed family for a time -- was he an orphan? Did his family leave him when they moved? We know no more.

Any help would be greatly appreciated to knock down this brick wall!!
