Hi Barbara - great to hear from you! I am wondering if the fax you received is the collection of Glenda Wheeler, a generous AL researcher? If so, I have copies and can help you put them in order. If not, I would be thrilled to receive your information and share anything I have. Is Betty Smith your husband's ancestor? Thanks for responding. Sherry

I'm working on the same tree My Husband is Samuel Smith, I just receieved a fax from his sister with the information about Pleasant and his family, I haven't finished reading it yet. I would be happy to help you with anything I can. the fax is about 50 pages and it got mixed up when it got faxed to me so I'm trying to put it in order. I do know that Pleasant's father was Jeremiah Smith born 1775 I also have stories about Pleasant when he was in the civil war Private Company D Alabama Infantry (1862-1865) Birth date Jan, 22 1842-July 22 1911 Father of Betty Smith. He had more children there in these pages I just have to put them together. If you have a fax I can fax all of this to you and maybe you can help me get it in order.

Barbara Smith
