I know this post is older but I have taken up research on my family line where my grandfather's cousin left off. I have ordered the DNA kit and hope to put the question of where we originate to an end. There are so many Ailes/Ayles/Aills etc. that maybe if more of us do the testing we can put the puzzle pieces together and unite our Ancestors. I know this would have made my grandfather very happy as tomorrow is the anniversary of his death I hope to make him proud in my endevors with our Ailes families.
