Surnames: Aymer, Amor, Kyler, Beckingham, Blankenship, Mills, Flippance
My Aymers originated in Pewsey, Wiltshire, England. Richard was father to my Thomas. The spelling was Amor in England. I don't know why it changed. Thomas married Mary Jane Beckingham in Preshute Parish, Wiltshire, and they came to America with several children, and several of their own siblings and a few friends. Thomas and Mary Jane settled in Taylorville, IL, and had several more children. Nine in all. She died early, and he remarried.... to Sarah Jane Mills Blankship (married name). Her parents were Thomas Mills and Somebody Flippance. They also settled in IL, probably also in Taylorville. Thomas Aymer's brother (or maybe nephew) Charles moved on to Canada, I think. Another brother Charles stayed in IL, married a Laura Ann ?? and had a child Glen. Laura died, and Charles left his child and moved to OK, married again, and stayed there. Glen died about 1959-60 in IL, but is buried in Nowata, OK, near his father. Thomas is buried in Taylorville, in a grave with a marke listing his first wife and a daughter, along with his name. The second wife died in CA.....
Does anyone know anything about these people?? I know Thomas' children, but I'm very interested in the ancestors.....
