Can`t tell you much about your the people you did name on your post but i can give you some history about the Ayotte family. Thomas Hayot came from France in 1640, One of the first homesteader in what they use to call New-France (Nouvelle- France)in Québec.

If you are able to do some research , there is an article in La presse, french newspaper in Montréal, they might have it on files. samedi ( saturday) 30 mars 1993.
