G'day Judy, I am your cousin and my research on the Ayres is that Charles and Hannah nee Blockley came from Breedon on the Hill and Gaddesby, Leicestershire respectively.

The other children that stayed in England were around Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire and from that issue came a female missionary to Montreal, Quebec, Canada called Isia bn 1905.

They did not return to be picked up in the 1911 census so I assume she and her parents stayed there.

I do not know what happened to Abram and Frances. BTW I am related through Winifred Charlotte Ayre
