Am trying to research my family tree and know that my great grandmother was a bridget ayres born 25/2/1875 in the parish of carbury.She had two brothers James (1871) and Thomas (1873) Her parents were bridget gill (think born around 1844) and luke ayres from carbury kildare. bridget gill's parents were thomas gill and ann scandlen?? I know my grandmother went to Dublin to work in service when she was about 16 and met and married my great grandad Patrick Byrne (21/3/1869 born) Would love to know if anyone has information re the Carbury history.
