hello

I am researching into John Ayres family at the moment. In particular his first wife. I have her noted as a Sarah Olliver b.1815 but so far have come up with no other information. He emigrated with his family to Victoria in 1853. I have looked at other connected trees and they note her last name as Haliday/Holiday. I am interested in why I have the different last name, if it was her maiden or another marriage name.
I was also wondering if any living Ayres in Witcham, Downham or Ely in Cambridgeshire have any information they would like to pass on.
I was recently in England but missed on the chance to go to Witcham.
