I have a Susanna Holliday born about 1776 in Pennsylvania who married a John Ayres some time after 1792 and they ended up in Belmont County, OHIO. According to a deed document Susanna Holliday Ayres had inherited a protion of her father's farm in Elizabeth Twp, Allegheny Co, PA and that was sold in 1816. In that document it mentioned that they lived in Belmont Co, Ohio.

I am trying to figure out if Susanna Holliday Ayres was the mother of Obediah Ayres born 1816 that you mention. Or were there two different John Ayres' families in Belmont, Ohio of the same generation?
