Hello Sarah, have just found this old posting for you. I worked with your grandfather Kenneth James Ayrton at The Clayton Aniline in Manchester and also knew your grandmother Doris and up until 2 Christmas's ago I exchanged cards and letters with him. As I have not heard from him I am assuming that he is no longer with us. I still see a few people who worked with him and they always ask after him.
