Jacob Baab/Paup, York Co PA

Looking for information on ancestors and descendants of Jacob Baab/Paup, arrived US 10/25/1746, Philadelphia PA from Germany. Received land grant in 1752 in Dover Twp, York Co, PA; married Ewis (Avis) Pettit. Children: Mordecia, Anna Sophia, Hanna, Valentine, Rebekah, Eve, Ewis, Abigail, Daniel, Frederick Thomas, Pricilla, John, and Christian. All male children used Paup surname (believe all Paups are related).

I have traced my GGG Grandfather, George Paup (b. 1833 York Co PA, d 1905 Harlan, Shelby Co, IA) back to PA, but unable to determine if his parents were George Sarah Paup; or Daniel and Lydia (Clark) Paup. Above Daniel b. app. 1763, may have been George's grandfather?

Recently found this Baab/Paup information on a ship list "Palatines to America Immigrant Ancestor Data." Appreciate any help verifying this information.

Corinne (Paup) Mitchell
