Here are some tidbits I've found on the net...hope it's helpful.
None of the Baaklinis I've found spelt their names that way. They were either Baklini or Baclini. On ellisislandrecords.org, there is a Phillipe Baklini, and a family of Baclinis who were on the Titanic!
In fact, there were four Baclinis (Latifa, Maria Catherine, Eugenie and Helene Barbara) and one Adele Jane Kiamie Najib, all from Shweir, and all survivors! Click here for a nice biography of the group and links for each person (http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/bio/p/3rd/baclini_s2.sh...
). The Baclinis weren't even supposed to be on the ship, and they boarded on ticket # 2666 (creepy!), with their friend Adele on # 2667.
At Ellis Island, Eugenie became Jennie, Latifa became Latifie, Maria became Marie, and Helene became Illne (I couldn't find Adele on Ellis, even though she has the best biography on the Titanic site!)
Maria Baclini was the last of the "Titanic Shweiris" and she died in 1982. She was married to a George Knanisur (Khnaisser?) who died in 1996. Here is a discussion about her on a BB(http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/discus/messages/5811/73...
By the way, there were 66 people from Lebanon on the ship! Click here to see all of them (http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/result_rct.php?rct=30
That's all I could find. The Titanic website was especially helpful (http://www.encyclopedia-titanica.org/
