Maiden names, birth, marriage and death dates etc.   I'm pretty sure the origin of your family is from Holland, I'd be happy to help you with any dutch translation if you need it.        </description>

Baars, 66, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, at her home, 2910 Dawson, after an extended battle with breast cancer&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral services will be at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home.  Chaplin Jerry Timmerman, Hospice Chaplin will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Kevin West, Mark Hutchings, Robert Allbee, Jeff Jarrett, Jeff Baird, and Tim Howell.  Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mrs. Baars was born on June 20, 1935, in Muscatine, the daughter of Omer and Geneva Ellen Landers Muhlenburg.  She married James E. Baars on June 9, 1962, in Muscatine.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She worked at the Credit Bureau of Muscatine, Inc. for 25 years.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She enjoyed crocheting filet names, tablecloths, doilies, baby blankets and baby sweaters.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Survivors include her husband, James E. Baars of Muscatine, four sons, Michael Baars of Dubuque, Terry Baars of Muscatine, Matthew Baars of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Timothy Baars and his wife, Shawn, of Muscatine; one daughter, Ada Marie Whitworth and her husband, John W., of Muscatine; six grandchildren, Tyler Baars, Whitney Baars, Stephanie Baars, Zackary Baars, Hannah Whitworth, and Andrew Whitworth; one step-granddaughter, Amanda Whitworth; four sisters, Mildred Muhlenburg of Aledo, Illinois, Oral Howard of Aledo, Illinois, Patricia Griffith of Chicago, Illinois, and Beverly Short of New Boston, Illinois.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Glen Muhlenburg, and one sister, Rhoda Nesbitt.&lt;br&gt;No relation my kids went to school with hers.</description>

      <description>I have in some of my documents Baars a Christoph Baars is godfather to a Christoph Friederich Jahncke born October 26, 1802 in Zwiedorf, Mecklenberg-Schwerin and who's parents were:&lt;br&gt;Ana Dust(my relative)and Joachim Jahncke.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I also have  Magdalena Helena Sophia Bahrsen who married a Carl Friedr. Christoph Dust born Dec 31, 1775 and died June 11, 1802 in Roeckwitz.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Other name spellings to check: Bahrs,Bars,Baars,Bahrsen&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Hope this might help with an area to start.</description>

      <description>I am looking for any info. on my history.  Father-William Baars&lt;br&gt;Grandfather-Al Baars (I'm not sure if "Al" is short for anything) I believe my grandmother's name was Inez Baars.  My father is dead and so are all his brothers and sisters (Leroy, Earl, Walter, Jan)  I would love to know where my grandfather is from - rumor has it that he was actually born on a ship coming to the USA from Europe.  Thank you for any info.</description>
