My grandfather was Albert (Carl crossed out and written in Charles in my mother's family bible) William Baatz b 1866 (according to bible) d 1949 in Kimball, SD buried in Pukwana, SD. Married to Laura Morass (Maross). According to information on internet both born in Erie, Monroe Co. Michigan. Children were Joan (Johanna) Phylis born 15 Sept 1892, Frank born 03 June 1897 died Nov 1973 and Alec Doris (my father) born 25 June 1899 died 04 Feb 1951. Looking for information on ancestors from Albert Carl William Baatz. Believe immigrated from Luxemborg but maybe could have been Germany.
