Am looking for any info about my Grandmother, born Maria Baba, from Vestem, Romania. While in Romania, she married Eli Stoica, from the village of Mohu, Romania, and had 2 children, Eli and Maria (yes, I guess they named their children after themselves!). I had visited Vestem, Romania, in 1977, and was allowed to view her former home by the current occupant but couldn't find anything more on her family. My Grandmother, emigrated to USA, following her husband, Eli, in the early 1900's. She planned on going back to Romania, but never did. They had 2 more children here and settled in North Grosvenordale, CT.
