My grandfather Thomas Babb visited his relatives in Texas (didn't know them) but having found his roots from Kentucky back to Tennessee there are Babbs from Tennessee who went to Texas. Try Robertson County, Tennessee Archives and see if that is where your Babbs came from. Let me know
