Of course none of these are primary sources, so I would use them with skepticism (in fact the three of them could easily be referencing each other, so there may really only be one source here). The same is true of "Babb Families in America", which is only partially documented.

I think the thing to do is see if you can locate a death certificate in 1934, probably in Texas, for Walter Babb. If found, that would be definite. It would probably also be a lot easier to find than one in Durango.
