St. Clair Co. MI Babel's are from Bavaria

Placidius, Phillip, George, Simon, Joseph and Elizabeth Babel all born in the 1830's were children of Phillip Babel. I was at the Mormon Family History Libarary in Salt Lake City and they had 4 german experts try to help me...one who also spoke French. A couple of people gave me the idea to try Brunnen for Fontaine and Stengelheim for Stingahin. I tried 7 churches near the Brunnen that was 20 miles North of Munich, just South of Ingolstadt, but I haven't found them yet. The French Canadian priest who wrote the record wrote the rest of the record in English. This is a burial record so the person who had lived in Bavaria was dead. The info could be from one of his 3 brothers or from his Canadian wife.

I haven't had the chance to look near Sontheim which was the other good suggestion I received. I will do so soon, after all the unpacking, etc. is done. Thanks to alll for your timely help!
