I've just seen the message you posted in 2000 re Percy Baber. They don't call me lightning for nothing!!

I have a matching Percy Robert Baber b1901 in Lambeth in my tree. To my knowledge he was a police inspector (maybe transport police) and had four children Michael, Sidney, Lilian and Cyril. He was also married to Lilian ([perhaps Lily). If we have the same one I can give you more Babers than you could shake a stick at!
