I am looking for a Baber/Babers that were landowners in Navarro County, TX. My grandparents were sharecroppers on his land in the Purdon area in the 1920's. They raised hay, corn, and cotton. I am interested in the arrangement. (I just spent a weekent traveling with my mom who grew up on this sharecropper farm and asking a lot of questions!) The families I am researching are Woodard and Ward. (Grandfather was Sojourner Woodard)
