Beaver(s) DNA Project

The Beaver(s) DNA Project has grown tremendously in our first three years. We now have 42 participants representing 12 distinct families. While we still have a long way to go, we have certainly grown large enough to help many researchers find genetic matches.

Your family could very easily match one our current participants. As such, you may find insight as to where to look for more ancestors and information. Personally, DNA testing allowed me to prove my 4th and 5th Great Grandfathers, so you can imagine my excitment with this technology.

Testing is simple, painless, and reasonably priced. But if money is an issue, we'd still like to hear from you.

Please visit our Project web site:

www.ftdna.com/public/beaversdna

Because Y-DNA is only passed from father to son (not daughters), a suitable participant must be a man named Beaver(s), or at least be a genetic Beaver(s). If you know any such men from your family, we'd love to hear from you to address any questions or concerns.

But even if you don't know any men named Beaver(s), we'd still like to hear from you. In addition to DNA research, our collective group also can help with traditional research. We have several excellent researchers more than willing to help break down your "brick walls".

I'm looking forward to working with all interested researchers. Feel free to contact me directly at:

scbevers@comcast.net

Stan Bevers
