The THOMAS (Tomas) family lived near six mile road and a street that sounded like Sparlington or something on that order in Detroit MI. This was also near where John and Catherine Lived. Rosemary recalls it was just a few block away.
John worked in a meat packing factory and 1st Wife Catherine dies very young prior to 1935.
John remarried. John's 2nd wife had 2 sons from prior marriage. They lived in Long Beach Calif. during 1940's and Rosemary recall there was an Uncle that was in Calif. that's how they came to California to live. Uncle said their surname was BOBIC in the old country.
Hearing any Ringin of Bells ? Would like to hear from anyone related or not. Love to hear any memories or stories about any of this. I'm helping RoseMary trace down some of her family or memories of child hood. She was very young when mother dies and recalls bits and pieces. I'm trying to help her write some of it down for family genealogy.

I also had family (McDONALD's GOODMAN's) in Detroit area about the same time frame. McDONALD Daniel and Myrtle (WOODWARD) had a daug Vivian Lois, b.1901 and a son Arthur b. 1902or4. Daniel ran a newspaper biz. daug Vivian Lois married a GOODMAN abt. 1925 they had a daug Vivian Faith, she married (unknown) and Vivian Faith had a son Charles Henry (unknown surname) they lived in Chicago IL. abt 1955. As an Old Letter dated Jan 3rd 1956 tells how Daniel went to visit his new G-Grandson Charles Henry in Chicago for Xmas 1955. He had just returned with daug Vivian Lois and husband, as they all went by Auto to Chicago area for Xmas 1955 to see their new grandson and great grandson Charles Henry.
If anyone can tell me about these families I welcome any notes for my Genealogy as well. Thanking in Advance.
