Celia ,Iam researching my husbands Bermondsey ancestry got a little stuck at present think Joseph may be in our line as there were several families of watermen in the 1850 census listed in Vine Yard Bermondsey. At present Ihave got back as far as a John Babington his son George Thomas Babington and my husbands great grandfather Alfred George. My husbandsgrandad was a Charles Edwin not sure if these ancestors were related .
