I too am looking for a Babington family in the Brooklyn New York area. I know very little about them, but I do know my great grandfather, Michael Koch had a half sister named Theresia Henrietta Blanz. Theresia married Joseph Babington and they had six children that I know of. Sadly, half of them died. Of those that lived and could have married a produced heirs was Joseph Jr., Theresa and Florence. I know Florence married Anthony Robert in 1937. It is possible our Babington families are related?
