Paul Eraste/Oras & Mary Francoise Labauve/Labove were my great-grandparents. I never knew Oras, but I remember Grandma Francoise when I was a child. I remember Uncle John. too. I've been to the Labove cemetery in Creole, Cameron, LA where he is buried. Emile and Elizabeth are also buried there. John William's sister, Clara Seliva Virginie was my grandmother.

I am, also, trying to find information on Elizabeth Duhon m. to Emile Labove/LaBauve. I have the possibility of her parents as Rosemond Duhon & Metienne Hanks. I haven't verified this as of yet. I've checked with other sources and they are also looking at them as her possible parents, but can't verify it conclusively.

If you have any information that would be helpful, I would appreciate it. I would be happy to share what information that I have with you.
