I'm looking for information primarily on the parents, etc, of Joseph F. Backes, born in Germany about 1856. His spouse was Laura, or Elinore, Netzel Backes. I have information on them and their immediate family, but nothing on his father and grandfather. They lived in Derry Pennsylvania and he died in Youngstown Pennsylvania.
