I have a Mary Backes who married John Schirmer in Dubuque
Co., Iowa Feb. 9, 1875. They went to Montana in the late 1890's or early 1900. Believe they may have gone into California. Children that I do have are: Frank, Mary, Anna, John, Alvina, Ralph C and William R. If anyne can help me with this family connection I sure would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you.
