My Grandfather was OLE BACKLUND, son of ANDREW AND ANNA BACKLUND, IMMIGRANTS FROM DALARNO, SWEDEN. First marriage was to Alma Sandeen. Born to them were: Howard, Vernon, Clarence, and Norm. After Alma died, Ole then married Augusta Dehn Palmer, and born to them were: Richard, Sadie, Adeline, Pearl, Bernice, Gilbert, Roger, and Bonnie.
Ole was born on May 17, 1878, and came to the US in 1891. The family lived near Mora, MN, in Kanabec County.
