I have info on Stanford Backus born Va Aug 17,1784 married Mary Ann (Mariann) Ireland (daughter of Alexander) in Harrison County VA (WVA) on Feb 9, 1808. He died in Osage Co Mo on Feb 11, 1854 and is buried at the Pilot Grove Baptist Church cemetery Summerfield, MO (Near Belle, MO) Mary Ann was born July 8,1784 Maryland per 1860 census and died March 11, 1870 in Maries Co near Belle, MO. She is also buried at Pilot Grove. I have back from Stanford's parents William and Mary to Lt. William b 1640 married Elizabeth Pratt 1661 and died 1720 at Saybook, Conn.
