I am looking for information and descendants of Harriet May Beebe. She was born Harriet May Backus in Jan 1888 in Connecticut. She was the daughter of Frederick Waterman Backus and his wife Harriet M. Clark. After Harriet M. (Clark) Backus died, Harriet was adopted by her aunt, Laura Jane (Backus) Beebe, and her husband, Daniel Beebe. Harriet (the daughter) was living with her Clark grandparents, Charles and Jennie, in 1910. I have a scrapbook inscription (the photo is lost; I only have the inscription) that says "Harriet and son in Cortland, NY". I do not know Harriet's married name. She probably married between 1910-1920.
My grandfather was Harriet's half-sister.
