I am trying to locate anyone who has information on the following Bacon Family Tree: The earliest record we have is of Richard Bacon being on the Natchez, La census of 1758. He was born in Belfast, Ireland, entered the U.S. through Montreal, Canada, thru Illinois Territory and settling in and around natchez, LA, establishing Bacon's Landing. Richard had son Jacques Bacon,no birthdate, but married Marguerite Vaucheret on 8/21/1795. Marguerite was born 12/18/1771. They had a son, Jacques, born 3/8/1798 in Natchez. He married Eleanor Chachere, 1/6/ 1821 and Jacques died 10/13/1872. Jacques and Eleanor had a son Jean Baptist Eduard Bacon , born 11/1/1821, who married Emilie Savant 4/16/1849. Jean Baptist Eduard and Emilie had a son, Pierre Edmond Bacon, born 10/20/1853, St. Landry County, La. Pierre married Octavia Larose Fontnot, 11/12/1875. pierre and Octavia had a son Joseph Leo Bacon, Sr., born 1/6/1888, who married Mary Lelia Michiels. They had a son Joseph Leo, Jr, born 4/20/1916 and joseph Leo Bacon, Jr, is my father. I am oldest child of his and Ethel Marguerite Dunn. I was born 8/12/1940. If anyone has any additonal information I could add to this tree, I would appreciate it very much. All Ihave is dates and some dates are missing. If an;yone can give information on Richard's parents I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Elizabeth (betty) Bacon Seales
