my dad Peter Badaluco changed the spelling to one c.
so I don't think we are directly related sorry

Hi! I just randomly was checking this again this morning and saw your post! My mom is your cousin Diane, Joe's daughter. My grandma Arlene Badaluco, Joe's wife, just died in January. Were you one of the cousins that came to the burial in Grand Rapids? I don't remember the names of the few that came or which Badaluco sibling they came from. I would love to hear what your learn in your trip to Sicily!

My grandparents were Salvatore and Josephina Badaluco. My dad was their son, James. He had brothers, Peter, Joseph, and Frank and sisters, Frances and Rose. My grandparents came over from Palermo although that was probably not the town they had lived in. They lived in the US in Grand Rapids, MI.
I have just begun my search for more about them as I am planning a trip to Sicily. It would be very exciting for me to communicate with you.

My grandmother Maria Badalucco is decedent of Vincenzo and Crocifissa Lasala of San Vito Lo capo. They are a big family Vincenzo had a son Giuseppe born 1894 married a Elisabetta Donato. Give me a shout at papacoppola1@hotmail.com I can help you a lot.

I made a mistake in my previous posting. It wasn't Antonio Badalucco that married Lucia Raimondi it was Guiseppi Badalucco.Guiseppi Badalucco's parents are Antonio Badalucco and Maria Fasulo. They are from Tropani and or Marsala Sicily. Thanks Donna

My mothers maiden name is Badalucco. Our family came from Siscily,Tripoli, Italy and settled in east New York. My grandfather's name was Joseph Badalucco and he had a brother named Anthony.Their parents were Lucia Raimondi and Antonio Badalucco. Antonio had brothers that the family lost contact with. Hi Valerie, It's been awhile since we communcated, hope everything is very well with you and tour family. Im still around and what a surprise to get this e-mail info from Susan. I am Valerie daughter of Joesph son of Pauline and Joesph Badalucca of Oceanside Ny.
Both disceased. Have uncle Robert Aunt Marie and disceased uncle William. Joesph and Pauline were divorced and joesph remarried I do not k now her name they had son named Paul.I believe they were born in Sicilly and when they went through imigration the spelling of the name was change from BAdalucco to Badalucca . I would love any info avalible. as my fathers side of the family is a mystry to me.

This was in 1938.It was not till a few years ago that I started to become interested,and of course on one could help. There are 400 to 500 families in the world.The larges number being in Trapani,on the northwest coast of Sicly. The next is U.S.A. There was a Count Badalucco of Badalucco,in the western part of Italy. It seems to me that no one has done any work with the Badaluco (Badalucco) family on the internet!
I am interested in learning about other Badaluco descendents! Badaluco is my mom's, Theresa Diane, maiden name. My grandpa, Joseph, (Tucson, AZ) is the son of Salvatore and Josephina Badaluco who came to America from Sicily. I do have a family tree that goes back several generations from both Salavatore and Josephina's sides. Any one else out there have info? Thanks!
